What the reviewed source says

Start with the documented condition, not a parts guess.

NHTSA campaign 22V732000 includes certain 2020 to 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 vehicles. Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2021 AMG GLS63, 2020-2022 GLS450 and GLS580 vehicles. Due to a manufacturing error, the locks on the third-row seatbacks may fail in the event of a crash. A seat with a seatback lock failure may not properly restrain occupants, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Check the complete VIN before arranging work

Enter the 17-character VIN in NHTSA's recall lookup and ask the manufacturer or an authorised dealer to confirm whether the campaign is open for this vehicle.

Boundary

A year, make and model match does not prove that every vehicle is included. The VIN result controls eligibility.
