What the reviewed source says

Start with the documented condition, not a parts guess.

NHTSA campaign 22V771000 includes certain 2022 to 2023 GMC Hummer EV vehicles. General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2022 BrightDrop EV600 and 2022-2023 GMC Hummer EV Pickup electric vehicles. The high voltage battery pack enclosure may not be properly sealed, allowing water to enter the pack. Water accumulation in the high voltage battery pack can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

Check the complete VIN before arranging work

Enter the 17-character VIN in NHTSA's recall lookup and ask the manufacturer or an authorised dealer to confirm whether the campaign is open for this vehicle.

Boundary

A year, make and model match does not prove that every vehicle is included. The VIN result controls eligibility.
